  • 11 1/2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

Cake Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the white cake mix, ground cinnamon, sour cream, eggs, and water.
  • Mix with a hand or stand mixer until smooth and well combined.
  • Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and pour the cake batter into it, spreading it evenly.

Glaze Preparation

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the confectioners’ sugar and milk until smooth.
  • Adjust the consistency by adding more milk if necessary, until you reach your desired glaze thickness.

Baking Instructions

  • Spoon the apple pie filling over the cake batter, covering the entire surface.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the cake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely in the baking dish.
