Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups corn kernels
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch, if needed

Instructions

  1. Put corn, cream, butter, sugar, and salt in a saucepan.
  2. Simmer 12 to 15 minutes, stirring, until the cream thickens.
  3. If it is still thin, stir in the cornstarch mixed with a teaspoon of water. Pepper it.

Notes
